We noticed this place while checking out what Keith thought was another abandoned place on the west edge of the Foxboro forest, Just as we were about to leave, we were driving along a dirt path through the woods we saw a random fence with no trespassing signs on it. We pulled in hopped the fence and actually found something relatively cool for the first time ever, a huge radar dish collapsed behind and old air force building.

The dish has since been recovered and restored. But the experience made me think "Wow! This is pretty damn cool, I wonder what other cool abandoned stuff there is around here" Finding this radar outpost and realizing how cool I thought abandoned buildings were was pretty much directly the cause of me seeking out new adventures in abandonment, meeting the people we did on the earlier UE forums, creating this site, and my interest in photography. If I didn't look this place up on google when I got home I wouldn't have found UER, and infiltration. So I guess this is really where it started...
