| Mini-Chronicle On our second day of exploring in the Catskills for NEOPEX 2005 our first stop was the Concord Hotel. It was wet and raining on and off, and the tall grass and poison ivy was the only thing between the buildings and us. I probably wasn't paying much attention but I didn't realize that the hotel was being gutted before we got there. And so allot of it was stripped bare. Some of the cooler areas were the kitchen, the bar, and the auditorium, as well as the high roof overlooking itself and the surrounding area. The hotel was great, but clearly a shell of what it once was. If I remember correctly the hotel was being gutted in order to rebuild it as a new resort.
