After 3 years of hearing it's name and stories of how it's the coolest building you'll never see we finally got our chance. Not too many have gotten the opportunity to see this unusual mesh of new vs. old abandonment. We literally walked from one new clean looking section through a hallway into a section with ceilings falling and debris blocking doorways. Entering this building with a group of seven people would normally be unheard of. Amazingly that morning Travis now awake for 36 hours, most of that while at work the day before, and myself, battling the worst hangover of my life, met up with 5 other explorers from over the northeast and successfully infiltrated the infamous hospital (lucky for us these were some of the best most experienced explorers we know). In and out without a hitch. Currently the building is sealed on the first floor and a work crew cleans and maintains it daily.
