| Mini-Chronicle We were on the way back from a morning exploring at the Yonkers power station. The whole way there and most of the way back until this point I had been looking at cool buildings and thinking "I wish that was abandoned" then I saw it, Travis turned around so we could have a second look, at first we thought it was a hospital but the concrete engraved above the rear doorway said "Boyce Thomson Institute" so we figured it may have been a state school or something to that affect. We quickly found a way in and immediately I hated myself for not taking my tripod out of the car. While walking the halls and rooms you had the feel that you were playing an early first person shooter game like doom or Wolfenstien. I clearly wasn't the first person to think that because the walls floors and ceilings were covered in paintball marks. It was a nice little stop, if I return again I'll be sure to bring a tripod.
