I came upon The Gaebler School, when I was first a 'newb'. My Friend Keith and I were looking for Met State. I had never seen a state hospital before so as we were driving around the block we noticed an abandoned building with a nearby security trailer. We figured this must be the main building. We parked on the other side of the block and to a nice long walk across the woods. After about an hour or two we came up to what I now know is Metfern Cemetary. We climbed the hill and found this huge(as far as i was concerned) abandoned building. We walked all around the building looking for a way in, preferably an open window. We didn't find anything but we did find a sign that mentioned tunnels so we thought it was Met state's main building or something.

We decided we weren't going to be able to get inside but we'd come back next time more prepaired. We started back towards where we thought the car might be, only this time we used a trail. After a little while it was starting to get dark. we were walking for what seemed like forever and then found a fence that said "state property" and "no tresspassing" of course I was pretty excited about this, after all it meant more abandonment. We walk through the gate and found buildings easily ten times the size of Gaebler. Which even for weeks afterwards I thought must have been the admin building of Metro.
