Robinson's Tavern Overview6/2004

Keti Rob and I at Robinson's Tavern

Robinson’s Tavern was one of the two places Keti and I explored in upstate New York, while we were hanging out up there during one of her mom’s trips for work. It’s a single building (or rather remnants of what was one) at the edge of a field. Not exactly the coolest places we’ve visited.

From my understanding the location holds some local historical significance. Possibly was visited by figures of historical importance during the war of 1812, and from what the sign in front of the building says the tavern was re-built in 1823, by Lewis Sage Robinson.

There’s not much left to explore or photograph but since we were there we were there we checked it out. I’ll tell you though, it’s not exactly worth the trip unless you’re nearby.
