Earlier in the day I told someone from the forum that we were heading to Danvers to meet Salt for the first time. Little did I know that along with Salt and myself telling other people about our trip, that was going to result in them and a couple others running around DSH behind us, and sometimes ahead of us lighting off firecrackers, and blowing off an airhorn right near us. We eventually caught up to them. I feel kinda stupid though, not saying anything, almost the whole time. I guess I'm just shy when I unexpectedly run into people I've met online or only heard of when I'm in an abandoned asylum. Now for the story

We head up to Danvers around 8 o'clock because we told Keti's mom we are going to a show. and it starts at 9. We get off the highway and follow Salt's directions to the Stop and Shop right across from DSH. So we head to the back of the parking lot, near the trucks he told us to wait at. I though he was going to be in one of the cars parked at the end, but no one came out of them after a couple minutes. I turn around towards the store, and see someone heading towards us, they flash a light, it's Salt. We introduce ourselves to each other. And head back to the truck. Salt goes inside to pick up bateries. When he gets back we pile into the truck and head to the hospital.

We get to a lot and Salt has Keti and I get out and run across a little river, and into the woods, Keti slips and her hands are evneloped in mud. She procedes to be all girly and acts like she cares. A minute later Salt and Rob are with us. We head up a hill and come up onto the grounds. Now we can see the building. Salts tells us we have to start being quiet now. We're defiantely nervous now. This is a new place for us, with someone we just met 20 min ago, and we're just walking across the grounds, no clue where security is at this point. We duck behind a building, this set me alot more at ease. I like to know where security is before I move anywhere on thier route. We walk around the building, and Salt tells us to stay put while he looks for a way in. He has me sit at the top of he hill to keep a look out. Salt runs across the grounds to the kirkbride to look for a way in.

As I'm sitting on this hill the security truck goes by, after its's out of sight, I see a flash of light, and hear a loud "BANG". I dont know where salt is, it's been a few minutes now, the truck comes back and I'm thinking "FUCK! what if they catch us and blame us for that noise. I go down and talk to Keti and Rob, Keti's pretty extatic, we dont know what to do so I go back up the truck is stopped in front of the Kirkbride I see some light from a window near the top (which I later learned is called a solarium) then I knew what was going to happen another "BANG" it went off right in front of the truck. I go down to Keti and rob again, Keti is really freaking out now (did I meantion this is all happening in heavy rain, thunder, lighting the works, perfect suspence movie setting if there was one. We already have a pretty good idea of who is setting off the firecrackers. A few minutes later Salt is back slides down the hill and tells us he's found a way in, for a little while I thought he had been caught.

We run across the grounds and hurry into the kirkbride. As soon as we're in Salt yells at the top of his lungs. "(name censored) YOU MOTHERFUCKER!" We wander around occationally hearing footsteps above us. We climb up to a tower with an awesome view. Salt warns us that a common prank is to tape shut the door leading up there. We Hang out up there for a little while, Keti and I have a cigarette and take in the view. All of a sudden Salt rushes down the stairs because he thinks he hears someone down there. When we get down there, theres no one there. So next we go out to the gym roof, another awesome view. After it starts pouring on us we go back in.

Every now and then we hear footsteps above us. We go into the gym BANG another firecracker, Salt runs up to the stage. We here them running. Salt has us split up so we can try to trap them, but unfortunately they weren't where we thought they were.

By now we're more interested in finding the noisemakers more than checking out the building. So every time we hear them we go towads them, then they either light off some firecrakers, or blow of an airhorn. They're always one step ahead of us because they run off before we're close enough to know if they are going up or down the stairwells. So we stop we shut off our lights, and wait for them to double back. When they do Salt run out and turns his light on. We were dead on about who it was. They had been following us since we got to Danvers. They even knew that Keti left her backpack at the end of the parking lot and had to go back for it. They even had fake mustaches ;) haha

After Salt talked to them for a while. They said thier goodbyes, and headed home We continued on our trip. We ventured into the sub tunnels next. They we covered in wet discusting asbestos like nothing I've ever seen before. Next Salt showed us some of the places where session 9 was filmed. Keti and Rob recognised some stuff. I still haven't seen the movie.

Finally the last place we check out in the building is one of the solariums. We hang out there for a while and i have a cigarette. Then we head out calling it a night. I wish I could have stayed longer but Salt had to work in the morning as we're leaving the grounds Salt points out some of the buildings. As we're getting to the outer road we see a car. So we duck into the brush until it goes away then we hurry back to the place we parked. When we get back Salt has a friend waiting for him so we go our seperate ways. This was the most memorable trip yet.
