We started the day earlier with a completely differnt set of plans. At first we were planning to go with Travis and three other people to Norwich. When we realized the group was becoming unrealisticly large we decided we'd split up Travis would take three of the would be group to Norwich and the rest of us Keti, Keith, Ratfink Yeti and myself, would look for trouble elsewhere. We decided to head down to Eagle Academy.

After the very long drive over there, once we're in town the PO-POs start following us, so of course Keiths instict is to drive eraticly and pull into the fist sign of civilization we see, since we couldn't pull over and get out into the abandoned building down the street with him keeping a close and (unwarrented I might add) eye on us. We get out and walk into CVS, the cop pulls into the lot across the street and sits watching us as we go in. We see him just looking at the car for a while I think he was running the plates and 10 minutes later he turns on his lights and speeds off. So we get back on our way.

Once we're there we do a driveby. Not expecting any trouble we take a service road though the abandoned property. What we didn't expect to see was the buildings boarded up, and a security truck blocking our path as the guard is checking the new boarding on the building. Suffice to say we got out of there but not without the gaurd following us to the property line. Luckily Keith and I had made a backup plan incase we finished with Eagle sooner than we thought.

Using some crude directions we got from Google Earth we took off for our next location a couple hours away Keti and Yeti sleep in the car, eventually I dozed off too. Poor Keith. When we get to western MA I wake up and Keith is just getting off the highway. We were able to use the loose directions and rediculously close map to find the location. We weren't sure where it was and had never been there before but just in time Yeti wakes up as we drive by it the first time. We looped back around and went to the dunkin donuts behind it and woke up keti. She got out of the car and looked over in shock that we were next took a massive city block sized abandoned complex and says

"Oh my god what is this place?!"

I think when we said we had a backup plan we forgot to mention anything about where we were going and what the place was.

We drove around to the side and decided we'd walk around and photograph the outside to get a better idea of how to get in. We figured the worst case scenario is a cop drives up and asks us to leave. Once we had walked close enough to see inside the parking lots keti noticed some shady people on the other side of the fence, possable and probably doing something quite shady. At this point we're thinking maybe it's a bad idea to try this without getting more info on the place. so we continue around the fence Yeti stays and watches the people inside. When we get around the corner he comes riding up on a rusted bicycle. It was hilarious because, 1. He didn't have one when we left and 2. All I could think was where did this come from?. After a few more pictures we go back to the car and decide we're going to go somewhere and actually go inside.

It came down to Northampton or Belchertown, Keith had never been to NOHO and it's time is fading so we decided to go there. When we got to NOHO we ended up slpitting up going in, which is not always the best idea to do, but sometimes it happens. Yeti and Keith went in one ward and me and Keti went in another. As soon as we got in I heard talking. I remember thinking, they couldn't have made it all the way over here before us. So we stayed quiet and just listened for a second. Eventually i decided to just go up the stairs and see if I could sneak up and see if they were workers, cops or whatever or just kids. When I get up there I find that its just a bunch of kids, like 7-10 kids. We talked to them for a while and found that they were just collage kids that came down from Vermont to check the place out. We parted with them to look for Yeti and Keith.

When we found them and started showing Keith around one of the first stops was the admin roof. Somehow we seperated from Keti so I went looking for her I walked into the blacony of the theater and I see Keti downstairs. I look to my left and theres a guy with a camera over by that famous window. I said hi, he didn't seem very talkative so i went down to keti and we went back too find Keith and Yeti. They weren't on the roof when we got there, but we spent some time up there and eventually Keith readylinked me they were back in the theater where we just came from.

We met up again and caused continued on treckking through the hospital. When we got down to the kitchen we found two ladies that apparently thought we were someone else at first, they didn't say much either so we checked out the morgue and went down the tunnel which was now unflooded to the food storage building. from the roof we saw that first group of kids again they had been trying to get in from the outside so we taunted them. By this time we were all getting pretty hungry so we decided to call it a day and go for some pizza downtown. For anyone that spends time in Northampton, Mimos Pizza check it out.
